We had snowfall yesterday, and the temperature dropped just a tad overnight. I woke up late (still recovering from New Year's), and hurried to get the green bin out for pick-up, and get A.R out the door and on his way to guitar practice. J.P tiptoed out of bed, went downstairs and started munching on Italian ladyfinger cookies! That little boy is a sneaky one! I told him that wasn't a proper meal to start off the day so I made him some toast, and oatmeal. He gobbled it down so fast, that I didn't see him take off to go play! Maybe he knows he's going back to school on Monday, and trying to get as much playtime as possible..hmm.
It's a new year, and everyone has aspirations, hopes and even making a few goals for 2010. What about me? Do I need to reform a bad habit? Make a lifestyle change? Lose weight? Eat better, drink less? Get more organized? Ahh..no. I'm taking it one day at a time. Whatever comes my way.
The holiday season was wonderful but ultimately there's a price for all that merriment. Unfortunately, for me my Crohn's has returned. Which means check-ups, specialists, drugs and a bevy of ailments that come with this incurable disease. This is my life, and it's not always perfect. It's just something I have to deal with; just another challenge to meet. So, forgive me if I don't post often, getting better is my priority right now.
And reading, writing, and laughing more.
