The Klutz

Is it just me, or am I clumsier than ever? I don't remember being such a klutz. Not a week goes by when I don't bump into walls, couches, and doors. It's not unusual for me to stumble, trip and fall. There are days when I drop things constantly. My boys are quick to say, "Mommy hurt herself again!" Hubby knows me all too well, and asks, "What did you do now?" I evade the question, pretending to be busy. He inquires again, and I laugh sheepishly, telling him how I got another bruise. He shakes his head in disbelief, and wonders how the heck did I manage to hurt myself while doing chores? I shrug my shoulders. I'm baffled too! What's wrong with me? Hormonal changes? Lack of sleep? Old age? Yikes! Luckily, all this nonsense happens behind closed doors; in the confines of my house. For some reason, when I step outside, I restore grace and elegance. Weird. Anyone else the same?

Or is it just me?

  1. I went through a really klutzy stage for a while there and seem to be getting better now though. I have no idea why it came on like it did or what I could have done to change it but if there is hope for me there is hope for you too :)

In the mean time at least you are keeping everyone entertained :)

  2. Haha that is weird, and also good that it's just at home...nothing's worse than falling in the middle of the mall. Been there, done that. :)

  4. I've been getting knocking myself around too. My poor knees! My toes! Maybe I should spend more time outside.

  5. I am constantly falling down the stairs and bumping into tables (they are glass). I fall out of bed lol
It is surprising that I've never broken anything. I drop whatever I'm holding alot too.

  7. It seems like I have to be very careful - otherwise I trip getting up from the table, spill drinks, break glasses (a couple weeks ago, I like broke 4 glasses all in one week - good grief!) It's amazing I'm all in one piece still. I think I truly suffer from a lack of coordination :)
