Feel Good Friday

I'm running a little late today so I'll simply post another Feel Good Friday. Check it out if you haven't already.

1. The boys were awesome this week. No hassles, no stress, no talks! Yay!

2. I spoke to my brother even if it was only a brief conversation. We're very close. He's my one and only brother that I love and miss.

3. Hubby is being extra nice to me. My birthday is coming up. I'll take anything from him.

4. I've reconnected with my old classmates. So happy that I did.

5. We survived a week of no television. We spent more time reading, writing and being together as a family.
    You should all try it!

    Have a great weekend everyone!

  1. that is great! my not quite two year olds have a problem with tv, like they might need a 12 step program, it's my fault as its so easy to plop them there to take a shower, eat my breakfast without 20 fingers in it, change the laundry.. well. anything really. i tried turning it off yesterday for bedtime and you would think i broke their little hearts.. i think its time for an intervention.

  15. Mama2Monkeys - LoL. You may have to limit their t.v time but I totally understand where you're coming from.

K - There's a lot of distraction these days, and boys are so easily distracted! I just wanted a change and less disturbance. Actually, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

  16. Wow - no tv for a week, how did you all do it? Sad to say, but I don't think my kids would get past Day 1! lol

  17. Well, on school nights it wasn't so bad for them. They had homework or reading to do. Guitar lessons for my eldest boy. Keeping them busy is the key!

They also played Nintendo DSi after they finished their studies so it all worked out for them.

  21. Sounds like you had a good week. A week without tv is a wonderful thing to do; this past week, I think, neighbors would have found me running naked in the street if I had to survive without tv. Sometimes we just have to be thankful for those little blessings...
