Easter Sunday

Yesterday, we were invited to my aunt's 68th birthday celebration. This special occasion was held at a Japanese restaurant. Shrimp tempura, miso soup, grilled salmon, chicken, beef and vegetables were on the menu for lunch, and of course, cake and mango ice cream for dessert. The food was delicious!

It was lovely to be with family; especially seeing my boys with their cousins. And at our table, it was non-stop talking and giggling. The kids also enjoyed watching the chef cook the meal in front of us. For them, it was quite an experience! As you can see in the photo, J.P is content after his meal. I must say that little boy can eat!

After lunch, we dropped by my parents' house. Unfortunately, our visit was cut short when we discovered J.P wasn't feeling well. He wasn't playing with his brother, complained of being tired, and just wanted to lie down. I checked his forehead - he had a fever! So, we headed home and spent the rest of our Easter Sunday watching movies. And taking care of our J.P!

Where did you spend Easter? Hope you all had a happy, and blessed one!

  4. What a fun way to start the day...and then the fever (we just got over that...ugh!). I love Japanese restaurants. I took my son to the movies, my hubby and daughter stayed home in their PJ's! We had a nice breakfast and a nice dinner together...It was freezing cold outside too.

  6. We had a low key Easter. Our menu wasn't near as appealing as yours. The propane ran out and we couldn't grill out. Your meal sounds delicious. Hope J.P.'s fever has passed.
