A Mad Hatter Tea Party

What happens when your two kids have birthdays in the month of February? You throw a Mad Hatter Tea Party in June! My sister-in-law wanted her children to celebrate in warmer weather so they could play outside. Unfortunately, it rained all day on Saturday; and so the kids had to stay inside. But no worries, it didn't dampen their spirits!

"Don't be late, don't be late for a very important date." Take a seat and have some tea. (In this case, apple juice) Will pizza, chicken nuggets and mini-hot dog buns suffice?

Look at those Eat Me cupcakes...

And shortbread cookies..."Off with their heads!" If you chose otherwise.

A matinee showing of Alice in Wonderland was a perfect idea after tea time. Followed by computer games, Wii and hide and seek. Can you imagine seventeen kids running around the house?

And no tea party is complete without a rabbit! Shall we follow him and seek a grand adventure?

  2. That is a lot of kids! Wow! The cupcakes and cookies look so yummy!

My daughter keeps seeing rabbits in our yard and goes out to chase them. She thinks one day she will catch one! I guess a girl can dream.
