A week ago, we went camping in Huntsville, Ontario. It was a scenic two and half hour drive to Arrowhead Provincial Park. If you enjoy camping, canoeing, kayaking, hiking and cycling. Arrowhead is the park to visit!
Here are a few pictures that I captured on our trip:
We settled in South Lumby campground - a new tent nestled in the woods.
After setting up camp, we headed down to the beach. Luckily, it was only a few minutes away from our site.
The boys took an afternoon dip in Arrowhead Lake, and played in the sand for hours. J.P hollered, "Mommy, look at the turtle!"
It rained heavily the next day but when it stopped, we ventured outdoors again. What should we do? Let's take a hike to Stubb's Falls!
As we reached the end of our 2 kilometre hike, we crossed a bridge and wandered down to see this beautiful view. Isn't it lovely?
And despite three days of rain, the boys still wanted to stay longer! Somehow, nature has a magical way of extending a visit.
And no wonder, they wanted to stay.
Take a look, and you'll see why...what could be more inviting than summer's beauty and serenity?
